    Fly high - stay grounded
Lets be honest: I would say I’m not a exceptional talented rider. Thus, I always had to balance out the missing talent peace. How did I do that? Hard work and persistence.
My family has nothing to do with horses. But they supported me through driving me to the “Ponyhof” (stable) early in the morning and picking me up late in the evening. I rode every Pony that was not being ridden that day. As you can think, those ponies were not the lovely-barbie-world kinda ponys. Those ponys were mean -and yes I truly believe that there are mean ponies. I remember that I stopped counting how many times I fell off “Odessa” – a pretty white pony, but the devil itself speeding up from zero to 100 in a blink– but I got up everytime. I’ve asked for help, I’ve watched the older and better riders, I’ve tried to adapt what I’ve seen and I got up on Odessa everytime. If I made it, and turned her in a nice lovely pony for kids? Well, I’ll tell you when we meet personally. ;-)
With my first job after college I bought my own horse. We’ve worked our way from E to L and now we strive for more. Still I use the same approach: Asking for help, observing the best riders and trying to learn & adapt – the LWEA Summer camp 2020 in Riesenbeck would give me the possibility to learn from the best and connect with other riders. The summer camp would help me to get into the next level and broaden my horizon. If I win you get in return a motivated, passionate and hard working (and good story telling) rider.
    Cheers, Kim
