It is not everyday that a global pandemic puts our entire lives on hold and has us questioning all plans made for the year. Finally, after a few long months of hoping, waiting and debating, the Longines World Equestrain Academy team in Riesenbeck has come to the decision that the LWEA Summer Camp 2020 will go ahead in Riesenbeck as scheduled. As travel from Europe will almost certainly be possbile without putting any participants at risk, the LWEA Summer Camp will take place from July 19th to 26th, 2020. Participants traveling from outside of Europe are advised to stay in close contact with the team in Riesenbeck in order to manage their travel in hopes that they will be able to join the LWEA Summer Camp as well.

However, with the entire Longines Global Champions Tour 2020 Season postponed to 2021, the final trip to the LGCT show Berlin has unfortunately been cancelled. Instead, we are delighted to be offering a more extensive training schedule, including dressage training with the headcoach of the U25 German national dressage team Sebastian Heinze, a demonstration by Ludger and his team, as well as course jumping with video analysis on the last day! 

Luckily, we were also able to secure a few regional field trips that will be possible with hightened hygiene and security measures in place. As Riesenbeck is located in the heart of the most equestrian-concentrated area of Germany, we will be able to visit the German national training facilities as well as the national stallion depot in Warendorf within an hour of travel time. We are very excited to have been able to secure these very interesting and educational field trip destinations!

Additionally, with the final trip to Berlin cancelled, we were able to recalculate the price for both riding participants as well as their companions.
