At his own show, Riesenbeck International Indoors**, Ludger Beerbaum won the Grand Prix of Riesenbeck with the eight year old Catoki son Cool Down. “It’s always nice to win. But to win at home is something special. I’m really delighted”, says Ludger Beerbaum.
Ludger Beerbaum - head of the Organisation Committee, operator of the new indoor arena and president of the Longines World Equestrian Academy - was very busy during the four event days. He was involved in the schedule, coached his team riders as well as LWEA students Tadahiro Hayashi, Mei Mei Zhu and Mariko Kato. He also looked after the guests and said farewell to his top horse. In a very nice ceremony the 19 year old stallion Chaman was presented under the saddle for the last time. Ludger commented Chaman as “being one of three top horses of mine. He always made me look good – and for that I’m grateful.”
